Week 1
For Week 1, please respond to at least two questions. In your responses, directly engage with the course readings, websites, and videos. Think about your responses on the blog as a conversation between you, the course materials, and the rest of the class – especially the discussion leader. This week’s responses will:
- Reply to at least 2 posts
- Use multiple examples from course materials
- Analyze the examples and bring in your own ideas in response to the questions
- Use clear writing so that we all can understand your great ideas
- Document your sources with clean links to web sources and author+page references to articles/books
Responses will be evaluated Incomplete/Satisfactory/Excellent based on those criteria using the following rubric:
Weeks 2 and beyond
Starting in Week 2 discussion responses will:
- Address at least three posts by Discussion Leaders
- Use multiple examples from course materials (lecture videos, readings, websites) updated: note that the rubric requires more than one source per response
- Analyze the examples and bring in your own ideas in response to the questions
- Use clear writing so that we all can understand your great ideas
- Document your sources with clean links to web sources and author+page references to articles/books
